Founder Story
Ehsan Najarian
Ehsan Najarian is a professional stylist, director of San Salon, and founder of Cutora. His path was shaped by years behind the chair, leading a specialized salon, and staying close to stylists and the real needs of the craft.
Founder of Cutora
For him, hairdressing was never only a job. It was a path where experience, observation, testing, and continuous learning gradually formed both a personal and professional point of view.
Ehsan began in an environment where much of the skill came from practice, repetition, and working directly with different hair conditions. Across many hair types and technique results, his view of professional tools grew sharper — and more distinct.

Along the way he learned that the result doesn't depend on hand skill alone. Understanding the tool, choosing it well, and aligning the stylist's decision with how the tool performs are also part of the final result.
That mindset led him to stop treating tools as ready-made products only. He examined their performance, limits, and real impact in daily work.

Founding and leading San Salon
Leading San Salon has been a major part of Ehsan's professional path. Building and directing a specialized salon took his experience beyond individual work and into a wider view of the industry.
Training staff, managing a team, holding service standards, working with clients, and planning growth showed him that professional progress isn't possible through individual skill alone. A successful salon needs order, responsibility, continuous education, and a clear professional culture.
Daily contact with team members and other stylists also let him see problems and needs that weren't limited to his own chair. That collective understanding later played a major role in the birth of Cutora.

Where Cutora began
Cutora did not start from a pre-written business plan. The brand grew from a real, repeating need in professional work.
Ehsan repeatedly faced situations where existing tools — even when well made — didn't answer his need precisely. The core problem was not enough control over how much hair was removed, especially when only a very limited change was required.
That problem became a serious question: can a tool be made that makes the stylist's intervention more precise, more limited, and more controllable?
Following that question led to research, studying different samples, defining the required specifications, and finally the idea of the Cutora 6% scissor.
Developing Cutora was never only naming a brand or designing how a scissor looks. Reaching the intended result required studying blade performance, removal amount, tool weight, balance in the hand, and real use experience.
In that process, Ehsan led identifying the need, defining product performance, and specifying the experience a stylist should have when using it.
The Cutora 6% scissor had to come from hairdressing experience — not a product designed only to enter the market. Development decisions were therefore based on real working conditions, stylist needs, and control of the final result.
Collaboration with manufacturing specialists helped turn that professional need into a usable tool. The result is a product whose identity is directly tied to the founder's experience and point of view.
Ehsan did not create Cutora to add another scissor to the market. His main motivation was to build a tool that he and other professional stylists had felt missing in real work.
Cutora answered an experience that kept repeating: the moment a stylist needed a very limited removal, but the available tool did not give enough control.
That personal need gradually became a professional responsibility. If the problem existed in his work, many other stylists likely faced it too. That is why the first idea moved beyond a personal tool and became the foundation of a specialized brand.
Beyond making a product
For Cutora's founder, launching a product is not the end of the path. A professional tool gains real value when how to use it, where it belongs, and what its limits are are also taught clearly.
That is why education is a core part of Cutora's development plan. The goal is that a stylist is not only a buyer of a scissor, but can understand its performance and use it in the right place.
Academy programs, technique training, reviewing real cases, and passing experience to the next generation of stylists are parts of the path that will continue alongside Cutora's product development.
Ehsan's vision is to build a specialized, credible, and lasting brand in hairdressing — a brand born from real experience in Iran, with the ability to stand in professional markets worldwide.
The path began with one product, but it will not stay limited to that product. Cutora is meant to become a platform for specialized tools, professional education, and connection among stylists.
The final goal is a brand stylists can trust for quality, identity, and professional substance — a brand shaped in a real salon environment before entering the market, developed by someone who felt the need with his own hands.
"Cutora came from a real need in my work. I was not looking to build a brand only to sell a product; I was looking for a tool whose absence I felt myself as a stylist.
Cutora's path began with the 6% scissor, but my goal is larger than making one scissor. I want to build a brand that comes from stylists' real experience, supports their professional growth, and can be recognized internationally with its own identity."
