For years in men's hairdressing, thinning scissors were mostly seen as a way to reduce volume. The problem with that view: many stylists confuse volume with weight.
Born from observation
The result of that mistake was hair that looked empty from the outside but still had the wrong form — or hair that had texture, but a collapsed structure.
Cutora came from this understanding: hair isn't a fixed mass. It's a living, changing structure.
